Poker tournaments in Neon Poker

Tournament matchmaking places players at a table with a fixed virtual-chip entry level. The event continues until one player remains, while eliminated players can watch the rest of the tournament.

Virtual chips only: Neon Poker uses virtual chips only. Chips and in-game items have no cash value and cannot be withdrawn.

Joining a tournament

Choose an available entry level and enter the matchmaking queue. The virtual buy-in is checked by the server before a seat is reserved.

A tournament starts once the required seats are filled. Players cannot create arbitrary public tournaments, which keeps the entry levels and prize structure consistent.

Starting stacks and rising blinds

Every participant begins with the same configured tournament stack. Blinds increase over time so that the tournament progresses and players must adapt as stack sizes become shorter relative to the blinds.

There is no cash value attached to the entry fee or prizes. All amounts remain virtual chips within the game.

Elimination and final positions

A player is eliminated after losing the complete tournament stack. The seat is released for the tournament logic, while the eliminated account can remain at the table as a spectator until the event ends.

The final surviving player wins first place. Depending on the configured level, second place may also receive a virtual-chip prize.

Tournament strategy basics

Early levels often allow more patience because blinds are small. Later levels reward careful stack management, position and awareness of effective stack sizes.
